Just got a newsletter from Lion Brand Yarns. Look how cute these are - they seem like such fun projects! If anyone makes one, let me know so I can meet you in the shop and see it! They have lots of cute, free patterns like this on lionbrand.com.
You guys wore me out today! I was so happy to see everyone who came in to grab piles of stuff at our first-ever "Big Sale". As I was telling someone later, it was like a swarm of bees descended upon us first thing in the morning and cleared us all out. And everyone seemed to be having such a great time chatting and hanging out too! Here are a few snapshots of the room before the arrival of the swarm. Sorry to those of you who came later in the day or who plan to come tomorrow... not much is left. At this point, we're intending to make it an annual event; maybe next year I'll get up even earlier and bring bagels for everyone.
For those of you who have been wondering why our Mission Hills manager hasn't been around as much as usual, there is a happy explanation. It turns out that Tamara is about 12 weeks pregnant, and has been feeling a bit green. We are so excited to find out if it's going to be a girl or a boy, but a bit sad that after 4 years, we'll be seeing a little less of her in the coming months. Make sure to wish her luck when you're in next!
This is our Hillside Artisans shop blog... enjoy!
